Stephvon Jones aka JuSteph is a native of California who started writing poetry at the age of 6 while living in Fairbanks, AK. While living in Dunfield MD, he and his adoptive brothers would play around with music, although, it wasn’t until he moved to Raleigh NC and met his good friend/brother Xravier Denise aka Cloudy Nueve that he started turning his poetry into rap. Even then he still was not committed to rapping, losing Cloud in 2019 is what pushed him into really focusing on turning his poetry into rap. If you ask JuSteph what his style of rap is, “he will tell you that he considers his style to be melodic”, full of sounds and harmony with a poetic flow to it.
